Escaping his hostage's friends proved more difficult than Coltores originally anticipated. After half a day of flying, sneaking, and portaling around, he finally eluded them, but not before suffering a few minor burns and a nasty cut on his side. He felt slightly embarrassed that he'd had to knock the poor woman out to get her home, but he didn't have much other choice. As they were approaching the dungeon entrance, she'd tried to stab him in the back with her dagger (again) and blasted him back with her powers several times. Now that she was safetly in her guest room (with a box of chocolates and a chic red dress on her pillow), Coltores retired to his control room to begin his preparations.
He'd been building this dungeon for some ten years. "El Muerta Grande" he called it--"The Big Death". It was the deadliest and most complex construction he'd ever made, forty levels deep and another forty tall, filled with his trickest traps, most clever monsters that he'd trained himself, and every type of terrain imaginable. But Coltores was starting to think he'd made it too grand. Every challenger or group of adventurers to enter this dungeon had failed miserably, and each time, Coltores had been forced to shut the dungeon down and rescue the hapless losers before they got killed. Which also meant releasing his damsel because he felt so terrible for the pummeling her friends took. But maybe, just maybe, these new challengers could handle The Big Death.
As Coltores was programming his sentry bots to "stun mode", he was startled by a loud female voice. "Hey! Hey, you! Yeah, I know you can hear me!"
He didn't know for certain how much time he had left before his challengers arrived, but how could he say no to such a powerful, attractive voice? He scouted around his console and activited the camera in his damsel's room. The pink feline stood with her hands on her hips, glaring hotly into the camera. Coltores noted that she was still wearing her bathing suit. He also wondered how she found his neatly disguised camera, until he saw her fairy peek around the small hole in the wall.
The feline said, "Hey, buster, you'd better tell me what's going on or I'll plant my foot up your...!"
Coltores swiftly replied, "Excuse me, my lady. I will explain everything."
They chatted at length, and to Coltores' surprise, Crystal (that was her name, and what a beautiful one it was!) was eager to have her friends challenge the dungeon. "You kidding? We're always looking for the next big adventure! I know the guys will love it. But you'd better bring everything you've got or they'll trash this place before you know what hit you. My hubby Meroe can get a little... er, vicious when he thinks I'm in danger. Last time..."
Coltores' breath caught in his throat. She was married?! He scanned her fingers, but she wore too many rings to determine which was her wedding band. Not that that eased Coltores' guilt. How could he have made such a grave error? He had half a mind to shut the dungeon down right then and take Crystal back to her friends so he could apologize, but then his ears pricked towards Crystal's excited tone.
"...demon with light power, and he can regenerate, but it's those claws that'll getcha! His little brother Wing can be a real pain, too. He's cute but that's what makes him dangerous. He never leaves home without one hundred potions and summon spells..."
The more she talked, the more Coltores' excitement overshadowed his depression. A child with incredible magical power, a young boy hacker, a military general with a dragon's heart... ideas to challenge them flowed into Coltores' head faster than Crystal could talk. He sneakily tried to get her spill some information about her friends' weaknesses, but she wasn't that stupid.
"Hehe, naughty boy! You'll have to find that out for yourself."
With so much work to do, Coltores closed the communication and faced his console. Everything had to be perfect for their arrival.
Coltores was reviewing an owner's manual when an alarm started honking. The manual flew on the floor as he rushed to bring up a view of the entrance. The time was here at last! Coltores expected to see all five adventurers waltzing up the cobblestone path to greet him at the castle's front door, but he was disappointed to see only the red-and-black raccoon man and the short, bat-eared fox child. Meroe had a furious snarl on his face. He didn't even bother reading the rules by the door as he barged in. The fox child, however, paused to examine the "Lovely-meter" off the path.
"Now, where are the others?" Coltores mumbled.
After some flipping through channels, he suddenly spotted a young purple foxhound in the monster factory corridors. How had he gotten there? Ah, that must be the hacker Crystal mentioned, Coltores thought. I'll have to keep that one busy while I finish strengthening my firewalls. coltores pressed a series of buttons. On one camera feed, a collection of cages opened and the monsters swarmed from their beds. Coltores then ramped up the trap difficult in that area and searched for the remaining two challengers. He found them breaking their own door in the castle area of the dungeon. One was a cheetah-man in full body gear. He looked intimidating next to a thinner black wolf with orange stripes, yet something about the cruel gleam in the man's striking blue eye (the other was concealed behind an eye path) warned Coltores to be wary. He thought, How rude! I'll have to teach them some manners. Some twisting and flicking activated the dungeon's weather generator. Soon they would have hurricane force winds and torrential rain beating them down. And, in case they didn't get the hint, Coltores unleashed all of the monsters in that region. That would teach them a lesson.
Coltores grinned, cracked his knuckles, and gripped the joystick beside his keyboard.
"Friends, let's see how talented you really are."

And...omg...I first didn't recognized them as what they are, but, those "screens" in the background are a neat idea! *eyes each of them*
And what the hell are you talking about crappy fur?! That fur looks AWESOME! It's so smooth but also detailed! Just wonderful!

Thank you so much! The fur texture here is bad compared to "part three"
. I haven't done much digital so I change my techniques every single time I do an artwork. It's annoying but interesting. I think the plushie is the best part too.
