just some vector practice.me wanting to one day be half as good as *novenarik , with whom i am now officially obsessed.

i really liked making this, although i still don't feel his mouth is right. i just don't know how to do lips yet....
*sheepishly wanders away ashamed of his unfortunate lack of vector skills...*

I'm always a big fan of simple vectors... and I think you did a great job. Love how you have it sort of coming out of a "frame"

I think this is really simple and clean. Effective if you will. The lack of lips seem fine, part of several particular styles is to accentuate or omit parts of the human anatomy. I really like the placement of shadows, especially around the eye. The way they trace the contours of the body is really well done.
Though, maybe I'd suggest adding some shade cast from the hat. The eyebrows actually seem to loo like thick black lines versus eyebrows.
But overall, well done. I can't do vector so who am I to judge... being a slave to Raster art and all. Keep at it, it's the only way to get better.
