Description
I made this just for fun. The rope looks crappy, but had to make it smaller and longer to make it thin and look like rope tied around him and the tree.Then smudge the edges to make it look like it is going around the tree.

..probably GwaineandDeanMartin, hmm I don't really have a fav couple on the show, well except Arthur and Gwen but they're not my favorite characters so.. but that only makes it looks like I ship Gwaine with Dean Martin which is even odder.

yeah. Even though I'm from Canada and it started yesterday, there was a site I went on that it was getting posted at, the full episodes. I hate the ending. Could have had Arthur live. and Gwaine live as well.

I think the ending was good, it went according to the legend and it doesn't really kill Arthur off for good, it is said that King Arthur will return one day. They managed it really smoothly.
But agree with the Gwaine part, it was just so random and unnecessary, not to mention cut short. It was like they all forgot about him later (maybe they cut the scenes but still).

I know they went with the legend, but they changed a lot things about the legend thoughtout the series they could have let him live and stuff. And also the very ending was crap, I mean we don't know what happened if Merlin ever went back to Camelot and Gwen made him court sorcerer etc. That would have been better than him old and stopping in front of the island and continuing on.
And is Arthur suppose to be alive on the island and he is watching

I hope they have alternate endings on the complete DVD season 5. I feel like writing to them how upsetting the ending was/is to millions of fans. It doesn't stop me from liking Merlin, but after 5 years of Merlin protecting Arthur just to have him die sucks, and he hardly had time to accept Merlin's magic and making him court sorcerer and tell him that he is his (Arthur's) best friend.

Idk if they will.. but then again, they might. But I mean, it was a natural way to end it... and it sort of leaves hope for the future.. Arthur might come back.

I think it could have been way better. It doesn't make sense. If he was sent to Avalon he should have been healed and stuff. Merlin wouldn't be alive either anymore especially in Modern times.

Haha it does makes sense if you're familiar with the legend. Arthur was very badly wounded and Merlin couldn't heal him, instead he was sent to Avalon where he is sleeping presumably to wake up in a different time where he might be healed. So he's sort of in a status.
Merlin is said to come back one day as well.
He is the most powerfull wizard of all time, presumabl his powers are so great that they're keeping him alive.
