COLLAB WITH She did the wonderful lineart and I painted it :'D This took all my art/RP hours for the last several days BUT SO WORTH IT. I kinda feel like I grew a level in artistness or something omg. Everything is 100% painted in SAI, no special brushes for stars; did them all one-by-one. The nebula theme was Ami's idea; I just painted it
Space/astronomy themes seem to come up with Matthew and Rathera a lot so it's totally perfect ahhhhhh. This was actually really easy to work on because THESE TWO ARE SO INSPIRING AS CHARS AHHHH I LOVE THEM. AND AMI TOO. GIVE HER LOTS OF PRAISE FOR THOSE LINES, K? This collab would be nothing without them <3DOWNLOAD FOR FULL SIZE AND FULL DETAIL. I actually didn't slack off much this time, hella.

Gahhhh I'm so glad you like it, Agu <333 It has been so long since I made a serious attempt at anything with outer space theme and this is the proudest art I've had in quite some time xD Now if only I could do this quality EVERY time //laugh// It was really time-consuming for something with only two characters and the lineart done already xD I definitely agree on the brushes thing. It feels more natural to paint it all... even slow stuff like stars of a nebula when I need a lot of them for it to look right! xD

I love pretty much everything about this art piece- how the nebulae look like butterfly wings sprouting from their backs I just ghhh- They look so graceful dancing among the stars (the expressions on their faces give such a warm, fuzzy feeling), and the lighting is spot on- Ghhh well done to both you and ami ; 7 ;Β

sshsjhdjhdfhdh THANK YOU SO MUCH AMU! <3333 It was actually a lot easier than it looks :'D Everything went smoothly as if it were meant to be! xD AND IT STARTED OFF NOT INTENTIONAL but then I worked it a little to be winglike hehe. Rath's side is kinda more dreamcather-ish for his ability to capture memories while Matthew's side was supposed to be more butterfly-ish ((but kinda failed there lawl)) as dying souls take the shape of a butterfly. Wisps have such short lives; Matthew is kinda always on the path to death //weep. Meanwhile, Timekeeper lives forever xD Such contrast---

Oooohhh, I can see that! To me, Rath seems to have more angelic wings, while Matthew definitely has the butterfly wings going on! You did a great job bringing those aspects forward! There's no mistaking the wings as the same type!
