Uploading the original version of how the Sorey and Mikleo icons were supposed to be //laugh// but for some reason on DA it is seriously impossible to have matching middle section of animation for icons, so we went with just leaving the middle as the Celestial Record xD<---What it ended up being lol.

Help this game is controlling my life right now and I somehow dragged Ami into Zestiria hell with me. My favorite parts are when Sorey and Mikleo nerd out.

how did you make this? what program? I'm just wondering.
I kinda want to practice 2D animation, little things like what you did there, and I'm just curious to know what program you used

Haha not a problem at all! All my animations that I've done were made with Photoshop CS2 + Imageready. It's probably not the best animation programs to pick from since it seems to have a cap on how large the animation file can be, but it works fine for simple animated gifs like this.

Ahh see I was considering buy a year subscription to Adobe Flash Professional. I just bought the Photoshop CC subscription so I can actually do work at home if I want. Is Photoshop CS2 like, you bought it for good? it's not a subscription?

Yeah, it's for good, though I have to admit I've never heard of art programs and stuff requiring a subscription before o.o;; There's no permanent version of flash?

Ah Β yeah, on the adobe website, it's like the whole creative cloud thing, and you can download the apps you buy from that, but it's usually on a subscription, but like, if Photoshop has a new feature added or an update, I think they add it in to the version you are subscribed to. I have the hard copy of Photoshop 9, but it's a bit outdated.Β

Ahhhh I had no idea it was like that now :'D I can't say I'm a fan of the subscription for art products thing, though. What is wrong with PS9? tbh, my Photoshop CS2 is really outdated x'D I've been using it for like 7ish years now or so? I haven't gotten a new art program since sai and I'm sure there's a better sai out by now than mine, too. The program you work with doesn't really matter much to create good art, though.

I find that Photoshop 9 is a bit limited in what I can do, Β compared to the Photoshop CC. Good point tho, no real reason to upgrade, just wanted to have the same up to date version as my school so I'm working more on the same page. Yeah it's stink, tho, cause you have to pay monthly and I like to have hard copies of things, not just digital. I never used SAI outside of trials lol, never got the hang of it.Β

Ahhh, well, I have no idea what Photoshop CC is and I never used 9 xD but I guess it just depends on what you want from a program. I've come to like SAI. I admit that it took a while to get used to x.x; but once I got used to it, I'm finding it impossible to paint in Photoshop again :'D Other than animations, I've only used SAI for art for over a year now and it's a very basic program, but I think I like things simple haha. Less options to learn.

lol Idk really Β I'm not knowledgeable about all this software techy stuff. Hmm Ihave been watching a couple of youtube artists who paint glorious pictures in SAI so my interest is somewhat stirred again in regards to SAI. Did you need a tutorial or two to help you figure out SAI? or did you just muck around til you found something that worked?

SORRY FOR LATE REPLY. MY INBOX IS HELL xD //trying to actually go through it now pfft
But no, I haven't used any tutorials for SAI, which is probably why it was so weird for me at first haha. Mostly I just experiment around and see what I like xD though that's what I tend to do for any program. The nice thing about SAI is... it's so cheap compared to Photoshop :'V and takes far less CPU on the computer, too.

yeah I have a free version of SAI haven't used it much.
I've been recommending Krita which is totally free, and is apparently like a mixture of SAI Β and Photoshop

I am playing zestiria in my spare time as well. Just got Dezel and Rose and i literally just got the game like wednesday (or maybe tuesday) idk exactly how far that is but yeah it is sort of consuming my free time right now. (.hack? what .hack? lmao i had been playing that before this... and well now im not. and sorey and mikleo fight like an old married couple... and i wanna see more of zaveid. I sort of ship mikleo x dezel and mikleo x zaveid (even though i haven't seen much of either zaveid or dezel) but mostly i ship sorey x mikleo especially when they start geeking out and protecting each other.
