12 years later, and I finally get around to doing this drawing again.

Merv, Karen and Chester are the first three characters I created.
The main changes to the work is the appearances of the characters, ideas, and background. The clouds are better, not the best but they look like clouds. wind city is now on a mountain and is depicted rather than being off screen and on clouds. ALSO, i needed some 2000s blood in this so i called it the wind ass city. oW The eDGe. I embolden Karen and Merv in this, going from thinking o wo dey cuut to out right prodding each other on their physical ability in situations not allowed on this christian server. but yeah, they probably do things at some point... Mean while Chester is thinking what everyone else is thinking, degenerates.

But its also a statement on the world of powerphantasy, where full humans in relations of any kind with animal human hybrids is taboo and looked down on hard. Its one of the weirdest thing you can do socially, and it helps show how divided they are. The Hyrins are sometimes still seen as pets or property despite being fully self aware and with individual wants and needs divorced from there natural biology. Some of them want to have a loving relationship with full humans. but some LEGAL establishments in sectors of the continental city see this as animal abuse. There have been many riots about the hybrids not being seen as individuals with rights, but as less than human altogether.

I think this is the most interesting this world is ideologically. I KNOW most of you don't read these, so I won't hear about it. but if y'all agree that this idea is interesting for the story, let me know.
