Funeral theme today. Not specifically linked to an Halfway Home event (even if...). I headcanon salarians to wear dark green during those occasions (blood is a good way to represent both life, death and a cycle idea), at least for important clan members, with a lot of floating veils. I have a lot of headcanon when it comes to death in salarian culture, and I went deeper with the idea of cycles and reincarnations in their religion by linking it to the water cycle; the huge evaporation from tropical forests, and then the diluvian rains as a way for spirits to reincarnate on Sur’kesh, hopefully to a higher state.
