I can’t help but come up with new AU and just mix them with old ones.
Here’s an AU where Prompto is half human, half daemon (from the MT experimentation, he was saved a bit too late) and Ignis helps him to control, accept and live with that part of himself. Most of the time, Prompto looks like a normal human being, but when his emotions are too strong he gives in to the daemon. Too happy or too sad, it’s hard for him to control the beast.
In the picture, it’s what he looks like when he tries to “call” the daemon. It never works because he doesn’t trust this part of himself (the scars on Ignis’ face and body come from Prompto).
