No. Thank you. Still not sure how you flipped direction of the work yet. Going to see if I can try that out too. Seems like it would be easier to do the lines.

to rotate the canvas on MyPaint, check out the keyboard shortcuts under the 'view' menu. it should be:
'Ctrl' + Left arrow for counterclockwise rotation
'Ctrl' + Right arrow for clockwise rotation
'I' for horizontal flip
'U' for vertical flip
