You project a "I am this person, her situation is real and I'm going to survive" when you are in that sort of picture. That isn't easy, as you know.
I'm almost completely ignorant of anything in your cosplay characters' backgrounds. I only really know the comic books, and only those from before 1991, so all of your characters are just women to me. Lovely ones, most of them, but still just women. It seems to me that there is a lot of lesbian hinting going on - doesn't bother me - but it just seems kind of strange. Is that mostly the Japanese Anime?
