I just want to say, regarding the Eagles, I get annoyed when people ask "why didn't they just fly everyone everywhere all the time?" The Eagles are not a taxi service, they got their own shit to take care of. Gandalf removed an arrow from their king's wing, so they're cool with helping him out once in a while when he needs it, but seriously, folks have legs for a reason. /soapbox
