I think Hippogriffs are the best example of how some creatures are milked out. We already have the much cooler griffons, I see no need in a horse-variant, to be honest I always wanted to rip out the pages in my D&D monster manuals when I saw my favorite monsters didn't make it in but both the griffon, pegasus AND hippogriff were all in the book... And Nuckelavee is just so original, awesome and horrifying, how can one not love that creature? The artwork for all these creatures is stunning btw, nothing wrong with that! I just don't like Hippogriffs, together with common Mermaids those are the only Mythology creatures I really dislike.
