Done in photoshop and painter!
Edited on the name on her...she is Yumiko but was written as Yukimo.....DOH!*knocks on the head*
Edited again, change the colour managment to a more accurate colour.Colour is brighter now.

I am not familiar with the character, but I must say that this is very well done! I like Yumiko's pose here and how the shine on her hair is done. Her outfit looks great too and I like how the folds in her skirt are done.

DUDE, that is wicked!
The coloring looks so realistic, like the shading in general, and at the same time, very anime stylized, wiith her slick and smooth outfit and soft skin.
What's really ingenious looking about this is that the background really fits this character somehow. I dunno how you could even make one that looks the way this one does, you've got to have some super secret technique of some kind... I want it!

your paiting is good, but for this I see that, a lot more of diference between contrasts is what u need. clothes, metal and textures, are not always depicted using the same dull shades, be carefull when you represent solid painted materials as the helmet, contrastful texturized surfaces, and opaque skin tones...not everything has the same reaction to light.

My only qualm, and it's really just nitpicking, to this otherwise great piece, is the lack of sights on the pistols...or is it because she has some sort of data interface with the sights hidden within the pistol's lower barrel?
