Description
let's face it, i will never finish this picture or this story.----------------
Not a moment after Jason* had alighted on the massive hook did it begin to descend. Any sensor capable of detecting his meager weight upon such a comparatively huge object must have been extremely sensitive. I'm surprised the dust hadn't set it off. Jason* retreated from the huge iron contraption, but the hook did not slow its descent. The hook touched the floor and continued moving with only a few waves to show its passing, and it was at that moment I realized the floor was not solid concrete, but rather a gray, viscous fluid.
It was also at that moment that we heard a disturbing rumbling coming from somewhere to the right. The hook descended until it was completely covered by the fluid, and then a few moments after, stopped.
Without warning, an object swung through four of the giant mirrors, throwing glass shards out into the room and shattering the mirrors upon their length.
A colossal construction of chain appeared in the newly-created gap. With steps that shook the entire room, it stomped out toward Jason* and I. Apparently, the fluid was very shallow where the chain-beast was walking, though it must have been deep where the hook first descended. Hook... Suddenly, I was aware that the monster approaching us was spinning a length of chain with a huge hook on one end and that its other arm WAS in fact, just a chain and a hook, and that that hook was glowing white-hot. The inside of the creature's chest was also glowing with some kind of fire, which, I assume, was powering the hook-hand. I wondered what the purpose of heating one hook was, as a blow from it either way would surely have been lethal.
The creature took another step forward with a shaking of the ground and a rattling of chains. The chain it was twirling spun faster, and I began to fear that this would be the most difficult boss we'd faced yet.
Suddenly, with a roar, the construct released a great length of the chain it was spinning and the deadly hook rushed towards me. I dove backwards clumsily, shocked by the speed of the attack, but managed to (barely) avoid the mass of metal.
*Placeholder name... help me think of a good one!

That would almost certainly be lethal. I doubt I would even be able to dodge hooks for long enough to get in range for a hug. Jason* might be able to get approach from above, but I really don't see what good a hug would do.

Now that you mention it, that is a distinct possibility. It looks as though the creature has little control over that hook once he's let it begin its swing.
I sprint to relative safety behind a skyscraper box and attune my goggles to Jason's*. Suddenly I am a hundred feet in the air with a birds-eye view of a monster a million times my size. I briefly communicate the plan to Jason* and his little wings spring into action.
Darting high and low, I'm at first afraid the monster will not even notice Jason and instead will keep lumbering towards me. The glitter of gold eventually catches his eye, though, and he stops his forward march. He begins to spin his hook again, but Jason* darts around him as agilely as his wings can carry him. Finally, the construct's aim falters and the side of the chain strikes him in the side, wrapping around his body twice before the hook slams into his ribs, catching on one. His fisted hand is now pinned to his side and the monster is off balance.
should i try to condense things or is that amount of text good

Have you seen Jason?? He is about the size of my head when his wings are folded. Recall that momentum IS, in fact, conserved, so unless Jason is secretly made of dark matter or manages to reach a velocity close to that of light, I doubt that he will be able to move that monster so much as an inch. The box idea? Not bad. I'll simply have to climb up one of the tall ones, lure the beast beneath it, and kick the heaviest box I can find over the-
That thing that sounded like a cannon was actually a gigantic chain snapping in half and hitting a box. The monster's arm is now free. He is down any kind of long-range weapon, but he is beginning to look angry.
