... well, you get the idea.The writing doesn't mean anything, I just put stuff that could look feasibly like a letter no matter which way it's flipped.
Just another contrast picture because I'm stuck on what else to draw. Occasionally I'll start on something, decide it's way out of my abilities to make it look good, and give up on it. Progression at its finest.

Surprisingly, I don't like drawing angels.
I can't find a logical way that they could fly, unless their wings were held on by magic. I mean, first of all you'd have to add two extra ball-and-socket joints to a person's shoulder blades. That would just look silly. And you know what wishbones do? They attatch to all the extra muscles that help a bird flap its wings.
So, basically, to make a human fly, its body'd have to end up looking like... a bird. Wow.
Dragons are so much simpler.

I pose an opposite thoery, but keep in mind that I've put no further thought into it.
Maybe, in the back of the ribcage, the top rib splits off in the back and traces up to the shoulder joint, and using that for leverage to rotate the wings that are built on to the arms.
Wait...
Nevermind. Just realized that the wings would be physically attached to the arms, and therfore unretractable. It would make for a good party trick though.
