A few hours ago, across Eastern Asia and Southewestern North America, there was a stunning annular eclipse.An annular eclipse is a variant of a solar eclipse, where the moon does not block out the entirety of the sun, leaving a ring of fire around it.
Me being an astronomy nerd who dwells in the norther parts of the Midwest, I was quite disappointed that I would not be able to see any of it in person. But I watched live feed of the eclipse, and it quite inspired me.
And I am very happy with the result.
...I am SO gonna go see the total solar eclipse in August of 2017.

Love the eclipse idea. Being an astronomy nerd myself, I'm very annoyed that there never seem to be any solar eclipses around the Eastern half of North America. Before I looked at the title, I thought it was a yin/yang type thing, but then I realized Ho-oh was making a ring around Lugia. Love the shading and how clean it all looks.

Yeah, markers ten to do that... I barely use them, maybe it's because I don't have any really good ones, but I guess even if I had, I'd still use crayons most of the time
