Description
Dorothy was thankful that she had survived the crazy tornado with just a few scratches until she walked outside. To her horror the witch her little shack had crushed had magically transferred her silver, blood stained boots onto Dorothy's feet.

In the background the Western Witch is losing her temper at the loss of her beloved Eastern Witch, while the Northern Witch is trying to console the Western Witch's wicked temper.

Toto, a chocolate pug, is yelling Dorothy's name, trying to tell her the obvious, that they "aren't in Kansas anymore" though to his own shock, his once barking now is completely coherent human language.

Well, here it is. For Halloween this year my friends and I are throwing our annual costume party. This year's theme is "Twisted Fairy Tales". Surprisingly there is also a contest with that same theme here on dA.

I have come up with tons of wonderful twisted tales, however I decided to draw my own version of Wizard of Oz. In the original the slippers were silver, but the movie decided red because of the color. I though if a house fell ontop of someone, there would be lots of blood... thus the silver slippers would be stained ruby by the blood.... hahaha!

I have decided to pursue a graphic novel with my twisted version of Oz. The title will be Emerald Circus. Look forward to more artwork from this theme.

I took a good amount of time on this one. My hand cramped a few times while I slaved away on my Bamboo, lol. I must say I am overall pleased with the results.
