alright, the final me-time picture before the great commissioning season happens XD i drew a depressed lucario c: his leg is replaced and his arm is busted up (hence the exo-cast he has on) :c

might as well dump some lore for my cyberpunk world:

exo-casts are medical casts put on people who's limb is broken, sprained, or otherwise injured. it can both be used like a traditional cast (with adjustable placement) or allow assisted movement of the limb in a way that puts minimal pressure on it. unlike Cyber Skeletons, which are normally used as powerhouse augmenters and require a massive battery pack and / or a large-scale body integration peripheral (L-BIP), exo casts have a very small inconspicuous power source and uses a small-scale Body Integration Peripheral (S-BIP). though in cases of full body casting, they can sometimes use a medium sized one (M-BIP), depending on the severity of the need for the cast (or even the model of cast used)

the more common uses for exo casts include:

rehabilitation of previously injured limbs

medical slings / casts

backup limb movement device when a cybernetic limb is in disrepair or is currently in the process of being repaired

a less efficient alternative to cybernization of limbs (some people just dont want cyber limbs)
