i tend to prefer the classic Japanese Sonic over the classic American one!

i like the American verzion cuz of all the goofiness, attitude, different poses and expressions he can fit in. Japanese does seem to look better-suited for things like Box Art and the movie...i will give em tht

i mostly liked his Sonic 3 cover pic in the Japanese version where him and Knuckles are standing side by side and he looks like a badass, also the one in Sonic CD cover Japanese version where he's looking at Metal Sonic!

well i guess American verzions just better suited for pose-type things only and not so much with uhhh..."epic" covers like the Sonic CD one u mentioned
