Personality: Alice can be described as the mediator of her group and the angel by her team’s side. Alice is a strong-willed, headstrong, wilful character who is always there to help and does not back down or give up. Alice can be seen as a big sister figure to many, she is wise, kind, caring, understanding, enthusiastic and competent and also rather positive, she knows the difference between right and wrong, and holds strong beliefs in peace, ethics, morality, justice and doing the right thing, she is also smart, brave, determined and a quick thinker all these make her a good hero and leader figure to many, however there are times she can be a bit protective to others, but she is also selfless, modest and would put her life on the line for what she believes in and those around her and sees the good in all. Alice is also a loving, calm, collected and reasonable person who always favours the pen over the sword, is a lover of peace and tries to resolve a conflict rather than escalate it. Alice is also a powerful and imposing person and can go from a tough yet nurturing teammate and tends to act as their voice of reason next to members such as Astral and is largely respected by her team and the hero community. Alice is also calm, compassionate and reasonable, with a strong belief in love, empathy, compassion and a strong moral conscience. Alice helps anyone in need and cares deeply for the wellbeing of others. Throughout her life, she has also been the popular, outgoing and social one between her and her younger brother. Alice is knowledgeable and intelligent however she can have tendency to overwork herself and will tear herself to bits when she gets fixated on a job, even noting losing sleep. This can make her prone to stress or anxiety added to by her line of work with the losses she has faced, with the pressure and time it takes to save a person and would fail to open up about this which caused her great sadness and anxiousness. Despite this Alice is still a kind-hearted and sweet person to a fault, but she can also be rather strict and orderly valuing hard work and knowledge. Alice is organised and is often the one with a plan. Even throughout her life being known for her strive in academics and social life. However, after a traumatic incident involving superpowered criminals, she became more jaded about superheroes, sometimes thinking they caused more problems, she would sometimes try telling this to her brother, however through seeing her brother’s heroics as a hero, she gained more faith in heroes, showing her sense of optimism and she still keeps a positive and cheerful attitude. Alice has a sense of wisdom and will use her understanding of psychology to point people in the right direction and lend them helpful advice. Alice is a rational and mature person, mostly from being the older sibling and the loss of her father, Alice puts a lot of responsibility on her shoulders in helping her mother and setting an example for her brother, however through a talk with her younger brother when they were teens Alice did learn to let loose once in a while, increasing their relationship. Alice is loyal and caring towards her friends, team and family and supports them no matter what. She is also straight forward, easy going and confident and is genuinely energetic, flippant and adventurous despite her occasional strict nature, she is composed and easy going, occasionally cracking a sarcastic comment or joke even when doing her job, however she takes her job seriously and sees the urgent nature of a situation. This can however tend to annoy Luke who thinks she is treating him like a kid or doesn’t think he is capable, but she always means well, she even admires her brother for his bravery and heroic nature and supports him through and through, all the more reason he chose her as second in command of the Alliance. Alice is also quite clever, strategic and intelligent often being to first to take charge when Lionheart can’t. However, her sense of over responsibility also extends to this, putting a lot of pressure on herself and rarely excepting help but Alice is also humble, selfless and modest and is capable of seeing when she is wrong and what her teammates are capable of and readily apologises when needed, always looking out for the little guy no matter what.

Appearance: Alice shares a lot of traits with her brother, in her normal form she is a Caucasian female of average height and build. She has light brown eyes which she inherited from her mother and shares the same red hair as her brother, however she has a lighter tint to hers which she inherited from her father’s golden hair, which she does into a ponytail.

In her angelic form though Alice changes to a taller and physically fitter build and most people say she looks more physically beautiful with a golden aura. Notably her eyes glow gold in the form. Her suit consists of white sleeveless robes with a sash across the shoulder the two-opposing hip. With the rest of the robe draping out the back and a single flab at the front which has gold accent around the rim. Alice also wears grey leggings with brown leather wrapped boots. Alice wears gold bracelets and a gold necklace with a blue gemstone in it (which is more than just for looks). Her suit also consists of ‘The Golden Crown’ a golden tiara with a halo symbol engraved on the front. Alice also wears a gold scrunchie to tie her hair back. Finally, her angelic form consists of a halo of gold light that hovers a top her head and a set of white feathered wings sprouting from her back.

. Guardia is based on the DC character Wonder Woman and the Overwatch character Mercy and mostly on the Astro City Comics character Winged Victory, her visual design was inspired by the Marvel character Thena from The Eternals, her warm hearted and sisterly nature was inspired by Jazz Fenton from Danny Phantom and Yang Xiao Long from RWBY. Her tendency to overwork herself was actually inspired by myself from experience I’ve had with college work, revision and assignments, moments where I bit off more than I can chew and ended up nearly burning myself out and staying up late.

. Her job was inspired by my father who is a nurse, someone who means a lot to me. Secondly her original job was going to be a judge however I just thought ‘early to mid-20s is really young for a judge” and I thought it worked better for her a character.

. Guardia has had the most notable change out of all my characters in my opinion. She was planned to be a heroine called Warrioress, with a sword and archery gimmick, who had laser vision and was loosely inspired by Black Widow and Hawkeye, however this gimmick wasn’t working for me as I wanted to make a character with a close relation to Wonder Woman, that and unlike most of my characters I was having trouble trying to come up with a good arc for her, that I thought ‘why would she need a bow and arrow if she has laser vision, or why would she need laser vision if she has a bow and arrow. That was when I remembered a character, I made Angel and thought it would make the character more interesting, so I changed her gimmick the current Guardia. In fact, she was originally going to be called Huntress but after finding out about the DC character Huntress it was changed to Warrioress (I know, what kind of fan am I?)

. Her first name means ‘Noble and Exalted’ was inspired from the name Alex which means ‘Protector of Man’ which I thought made it perfect for her character, that and Alice is a name I’m particularly fond of. Her first name was originally going to be Amelia after the pilot Amelia Airheart, however I changed it more on the basis of wanting a fresh start to my characters.

. Her powers derive from the abilities exhibited from mythological and religious Angels (no I’m not religious)

. Her fire weaponry was inspired by the Archangel Gabriel and his fiery sword

. The month she was born is based on the date Wonder Woman made her first appearance, December–January 1941–1942

. The day she was born was based on Guardian Angel Day that takes place on October 2nd
