I've been having fun hammering out character designs lately, so get ready for a bunch of them. These are all gonna be just really basic, sketchy pencil tool jobbies, because they're just about finalizing the design and getting it out there.

Kentaro is sort of like "the chosen one" I guess - he was born with a full head of silver hair that grew in as black afterwards - he's essentially his village's "silver lining" and was forbidden to ever cut his hair.

But see the twist is Kentaro is a supporting character, and since the story is about S.P.I.K.E. instead of about the chosen one so that totally makes it okay to use lame clichés am I right?

Kentaro's whole character is kind of about subverting expectations - he's a mercenary, and a famous one at that, so when bad guys hear the sound of an approaching cat bell (on his sword there) they get scared and freak out because they think he's coming. And as fun and ridiculous as that is it only gets worse when he shows up and is wearing a bright pink robe! (His kid sister must have washed his sacred white robe with one of her red shirts, lolol)

Anyway I really like Kentaro, he's a character that's honestly kind of a major dork but he can be intimidating when he needs to be.
