Description "You're all a bunch of no-hopers."

The Sniper is a wild man who lives in the woods.  There are plenty of myths about him, such as that he can shoot a man from miles away no matter what the current conditions were, and while that may or may not be true, it cannot be denied that his aim is something to be admired.  He prefers the company of nature over the company of people, so he typically doesn't go into towns and villages if he can avoid it.

His list of crimes include tax evasion and hunting without a permit.

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this one.  I like the overall concept, but I feel like I could have adorned it more.  Maybe stag horns in the hood or something? I don't know.  Overall though, I had this idea of the Sniper as a ranger type character.  He lives in the woods, among trees and animals and plants and the weird forest monsters.  As such, I wanted him to look wild, to look untamed, though not entirely uncivilized.  May tinker with this later.

Is he an elf under that cloak?

Nope.  Just a woodsman.

Elves can be woodsmen.

No they can't.  Woodsman imparts the idea that one is a man.  Elves are not men.

Then what are male elves called, boars? Outside of Middle Earth man is a gender, not a race.

Actually no, 'man' has long been used to describe the entire human race, which is how the idea made its way into stories about Middle Earth, and still is to this day, but that's an entirely different argument for another time.

In fantasy, there are countless fantasy stories that separate 'man' and 'elf.'  The only ones that typically don't usually portray elves as basically humans with pointy ears and not much else, but most any fiction that portrays elves as this almost alien race make the differentiation.  Skyrim also does, even though elves are no more immortal than humans, by separating them between "Man" and "Mer."  Really, the only fantasy story that comes to mind where elves have no problem referring to themselves as 'men' is Dragon Age.

Fun fact; did you know 'man' used to simply be used to refer to 'human being' while 'male' and 'female' genders were separated as 'werman' and 'wifman'? I do believe it was Old English? That's where we got werewolf -- which basically translates to 'man-wolf.'

I thougt we got werwolf as a variation of weregild?

Not exactly, but same thing.  Weregild translates to "Man price."  Basically, where if property is stolen or someone is injured or killed, the person responsible has to pay restitution to the victim's family or the owner of the property.

I knew that, but I wonder if that makes a good concept for a monster: a lycanthrope that by night turns into a sack of loot.

Truely this man will become king in Australia, because a crazy lady with a skull hat said so, along with something about an evil talking ring or something.

This series was quite fun.
I particularly like the Pyro.

The Pyro was a personal favorite of mine too.  I was originally gonna make him a fire cultist type wearing a dragon skull on his head, but making him an actual dragon seemed like so much more fun!
