It might be the fact that I have a hazy memory of the story, this comic has been running for what two years now? But what exactly is harvest's intention?
What exactly is he trying to do? It's implied in the other page by the line "father of an era", so what is his goal?

Lines like "Even your Princess is nothing compared to me" make me roll my eyes.
Was there any villain who wasn't stronger than princess or was beaten by a princess without them using Elements of Harmony? (the only exception was Sombra form the show).
While I regret going on this comic so harsh ealier, and I must say that compared to others, this comic actually give Celesita and Luna some fine screen time and decent reason why they couldn't do much, I still think that unless Celestia or Luna get at least a single badass scene where they actually kick ass, hearing a villain saying that he is stronger than princesses are just empty words that don't build any drama at all.
Celestia and Luna are worf at this point, and almost no author do any attempt to show the royal sisters in more positive light.

Big Mac: But yer name's Harvest, which has to do with gathering, not growing. So shouldn't ya be gathering power, not growing it?
Twilight: Actually, that's exactly what he's doing. Why would you make a symbol that represents growth if you're doing nothing but gathering?
Starflare: Yeah, if that's right, then you're not actually sticking to the Harvest motif like I thought.
Harvest: Look, you idiots, my power is growing by gathering, alright?!
Big Mac: No, there's a difference. When ya pick apples they don't just keep growing. Yer just bringing together a bunch of fruit that's already grown. It's common sense.
Twilight: Which is exactly what your doing with the red eclipse, albeit more gruesome. So the seedling doesn't even work. And it's not like you or the red eclipse are the seedling, because neither of your powers are growing from the magic. They'd be accumulating or adding, but not really growing.
Harvest: Oh, and I suppose you could do better?
Starflare: ...Yeah, actually. Apples? Fruit? Remember that? Was that not sinking in?
Big Mac: You'd also probably have t'add a hoof or mouth t' represent you or the eclipse taking it...
