I wanted this to be an entry for FlintENT's Road Rover Summmer Contest, except after looking back over the rules, I realized that OCs have to be related to the Rovers. And Roger, poor thing, is not related to any of the Rovers.So this is just an ordinary summer pic, but oh well, it can be special on its own.
So anyhow, here we have the Road Rovers down at a beach, enjoying the warm sunny rays and the cool summer breeze and the the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand beneath their feet...
And then Colleen calls "Group Photo!" and takes a picture of Exile, Roger, Blitz and Hunter all lined up. Blitz wanted to pose all sexy for Colleen, except both Hunter and Roger took a hold of both his arms, pinning them to his sides.
And then Roger decided he wanted to kiss (ahem, *lick*) Blitz in the picture, so he did just that, taking Blitz and Exile by surprise.
Hunter either didn't notice or didn't care, he was the only one ready for the shot. lol

That's so cool! Hunter and Exile look better without their shirts anyway. Why should they hide behind them. Lol, it still makes me laugh to see Blitz and Roger together like that. Man, this would've made a great episode.

Yes and no. Yes, because my OC, Roger, has a big crush on Blitz and tries to lick him as often as he can; No, because Blitz still likes girls, and actually, I plan on Roger meeting a beautiful blue-eyed female German Shepherd in the end (though its possible by that time Blitz will be used to the constant face-licking.

Just to let you know if there is any same sex pairings that are obvious & inappropriate they are not allowed in the group, however, if it is just licking the face it will be accepted as they are dogs.

Hah hah! This is great, man! Awesome summer picture! They all look so arousing in this here group shot! Though Blitz, as usual, doesn't seem to like the love he's recieving!
I have one question though, is that a vest Exile's wearing or is that a towel he has over his shoulders? Just curious. I like his bluish green speedo by the way.

Awesome. That look for Exile looks similar to how he looked like in that dream I told you about that I had a few years back. Only he still kept his collar, and the vest and speedo were kind of a deep red sort of color. Not blood red, but it was a little darker than the usual kind of red that we'd see like on a sports car or something. Hmmm... Now that I've seen your summer pic, I'm tempted more than ever. So you could be seeing that request sooner than you think!

Yes, he can. And I just love it whenever he gets some love from Roger or Hunter or even Exile, that's always so much cuter/funnier. Though I have wondered what it would be like if Colleen ended up softening towards Blitz and the two end up at a stage where they often hold paws or lean on each other but still don't date?

Agreed. I'm sure Blitz could make friends with others if he manages to open up to them. And if the team comes to terms with their grudge against him and value him more as a teammate than as a mere butt-monkey, then that would be something I'd love to see. Exile and Colleen would probably need a little convincing to put aside their contempt for Blitz and actually value him. Colleen on the other hand would probably need the most time to soften towards Blitz so that she could actually make an effort to be friendly to him. I agree with you that they should just be friends and not actual dates.

Yes, and think, judging by the last episode, everyone was beginning to soften towards Blitz and he was beginning to become 'apart of the gang'. Such examples would be where they all sang the Russian Name song, and that one scene at the gas station where Blitz comes out of the bathroom and announces, "That's the most DISGUSTING bathroom I have EVER been in!" and all the other male Rovers just RUSH inside, and Blitz says to the owner, "I just want to say congratulations."
Plus there was that one scene at the end of Blitz and Exile sharing a peppermint milkshake at the end, and Colleen did finally address Blitz by his real name - and even apologized for beating him up (and I don't think she was being sarcastic, she wouldn't have used his real name if she was). So I think, had the series gone on, they probably would've become friends.
Roger: Why would we be COLLEEN'S Angels? Why not BLITZ'S Angels?

You know, I guess you're right. Even though Hunter did get rather nasty with Blitz and snapped at him when he tried to dig into his documents, plus when he called his mother a "babe", I guess they were all beginning to see him more as a teammate than as a mere annoyance. And judging by what you said, they were slowly beginning to accept him as a member of the gang. In fact, now that you mentioned it, I'm not entirely sure why most fanfics I've read in the last few years always depict Blitz in the same negative spot as a mere butt-monkey who everybody hates and is always recieving all the bad treatment from EVERYBODY around him. I guess most fans prefer Blitz to remain the pitiful loser that he was in the TV show just for kicks. After all, he was the comic relief. But I guess if given the chance, they probably would have put aside their differences and become friends. Oh, and by the way, I've been making progress in our fanfic. I'll be sharing with you what I got very soon to see if you approve. But it will be in notes.

Well yeah, I imagine Hunter would, considering how going through someone else's files and calling their mom a babe is a big 'no no'.
And I think maybe, possibly, the reason why most fanfics depict Blitz like is because that's how fans remember him, that was his biggest role on the show, and by the time the team started to treat him differently the show ended. True. In one half I don't blame Hunter for snapping at Blitz because well... A mother is very personal. But on the other half I think he overreacted towards him a little. Needless to say he never apologized for it. Just shows me how shameless Hunter can be. This kind of showed me that either Hunter was in a really bad mood or he was starting to dislike Blitz just as everyone else did. Of course I can't say for sure if they would really soften up towards him. But then again, who am I to talk? Its just my opinion.
Yeah. I guess you're right. Either because most fans remember Blitz as no more than a pathetic loser whose to afraid to admit that he's a coward. In fact, from where I'm standing, most fans don't believe that Blitz has the potential to overcome his flaws. Most fans see him only for what he is and therefore they prefer to keep him that way; as a victim and a scrape goat than a member of the team. As far as I can remember, very few fanfics have portrayed Blitz in a more positive light. It's even more of a shame that he's never had the chance to prove himself despite some of the few occasions he's had to prove his medal.
