Just a little gift for , starring his favorite OC, Karasu, pitted against Hunter. I hope he likes this!
Some info in case any of you have trouble following along:
In Panel 2, Kara is meant to be tapping his mask, suggesting that it doubles as a gas-mask, and so therefore wouldn't be hurt by the gas that would be released should Hunter use his Super Speed.
Panel 4 is supposed to reveal that the dog Hunter was facing all along was actually a hologram (that's something Karasu often uses in fights, among other things; he's a dirty fighter). I tried to convey that by giving it some different colorings, but I don't know if I succeeded in that or not.
Panel 6 & 7 show Kara using his chain (I got really lazy when it came to drawing/coloring that; so, my apologies for it coming out looking so weird) to relieve Hunter of his blaster. (Told you Kara fought dirty.
)Last panel, I guess you could say Karasu is still wearing his mask, but we're being given an "X-ray vision" view so we can see Kara's expression (as I was sketching this out, I ended up loving his face in the last panel so that I couldn't bear to cover it with the mask, hahah).

Actually no; Kara said that if Hunter did use his Super Speed (which causes flames to rise) then the security system would fill the place with toxic gas (and that wouldn't affect Kara, who's wearing a gas mask).

Pretty much. But don't worry, since this is Hunter we're talking about, he'll make it out okay. Either he'll find some way to escape or he'll get rescued.

Well, it's not an *official* follow up, but yes, this comic did inspire that. I suddenly imagined what Kara would do now that he has Hunter cornered and unarmed, and suddenly imagined him enjoying himself like in the pic. So yeah.

Well, he's been unarmed, and its already been established that if he uses his Super Speed, which causes flames to rise from the floor, the room's fire-suppression system will fill the place with toxic gas, so Hunter doesn't have many options.

Mask looks great!!!Β The extra ears on the mask I had originally been concerned about, but I can pass those off as being buttons that control the electro-optics in the mask and other things.

Yeah, part of the reason I picked the mask to show you that I did was because it didn't have those ears on it, because on other masks I thought they would look odd with Karasu's own ears.
