Description
Based off two animes, a psychological horror film "Perfect Blue" and a one-episode gay romance "Beboy Kidnapp'n Idol." Both are vids I randomly came across on youtube (its amazing the stuff that just pops up in your recommendations), and somehow I ended up combining them into a Halloween pic for Roger. Since both animes revolve around a pop idol, that's what Roger is in this pic. Only the poor GSD has discovered that life as a pop idol isn't all smiles and glamour......Sometimes you wind up with some rather... important obligations... high expectations...
...unwanted attention...

Huh? How did I miss this one? 
You know, this sort of reminds me of the movie 'Misery'. Only instead of writing, this involves singing. Which could be just as bad. 
Hmm, like with some of the others, I wonder who could be behind all this. Maybe someone who is a fan of Roger, but maybe a person who roger doesn't really approve of. So that person kidnapped him and forced him to their slave... forever.
What will Roger sing first?

Like many of my drawings, there wasn't supposed to be a story behind it, but I ended up thinking up one anyway. 
I don't know what Roger would sing first, tbh. Most likely one of the many generic pop songs that pop idols sing. xD Though he'd have a hard time of it, though, trying to sing without crying in fear.

That makes for a great psychological thriller poster! Poor Roger, he's in a tough situation. I've heard of Perfect Blue, but I've never seen it, and I don't think I've heard of Beboy Kidnappin' Idol. All in all, that's so impressive

Actually, have you seen "Beboy Kidnappin' Idol"? If not, here's the episode: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A_drP… The episode is only 21 minutes long (the rest of the vid is just ending credits). But in it, is a character who's supposed to be represented by those claws you mentioned.

Its pretty funny in some parts, and exciting in other parts. But you're right, it was made in the 90s. I forget what year. I considered doing a parody of it with Roger and Tora, only I don't think I'll ever get around to doing it, given how much work it'd be.
