Thanks again : )! After creating this character I searched some suitable name for it. But I was trying to avoid give any direct demon names, cause this new guys are more like a "the weakness of flesh /old Adam" than actually demon. All the name suggestion what I was collect was a "normal ancient male's names", but Nergal was the only the underworld god's name (but it sounded so cool that's why I picked that). And after I named Nergal, I did do some background checking of that name, and I did give me a good ideas. But now I not sure should I chance his name because of the names "original owner", but it's still such a cool and suitable for him : 0 : D.
And you will get lot of benefit of my "name information"-writing.

It reallys uits him quite well, and I've always associated Nergal witht he concept of "the void" or the abyss, where there is a definite play on the binary contridictions of black and white, dark and light.
It's verp perceptive of you to pick up on the "weakness of flesh" trend (as you so aptly put it) which seems to be the root of most pop culture demons these days, which realizes on the pity factor and sex appeal.
Actually, he reminds me a bit of Benge, from Vampire Hunter D. Only more naked and less happy. Hehehe

I did check out Benge, and you quite right, and I even liked that character when I saw that (quite a long time ago) 8o. This guy is based on of my older character and one "sculpting" what I made in my school exams [link] (You will get that kind of guy if you have a too little time, too little amount of plaster and you find on morning blacktape from the closet on the exams days

Yes, it just seem so striking in it's appearance, and I was always fond of Benge. And that particular anime does exhibit much European style proportions and eye shape, which makes the animation style more unique.
Oh, it may have been a rush job to you, but I rather like the concept. Good work, especially with the exposed chicken wire! It gives it an artistic "unfinished" look.

Thanks : D. My sister's daughter sometimes play with my chicken wire sculpting, that it is some kind of king who like to eat anything. And she like to put toys inside of it (like his stomach was some kind prison).
