Description
In the comics, Nack the Weasel (Fang the Sniper in Japan) used to be a member of the Chaotix Crew, serving as one of the guardians of his native Special Zone. However, he betrayed the Chaotix to the Brotherhood of Metallix for money. His character was said to be a scientific genius and had an affinity for shrinking technology. He used this technology to conceal weapons as well to shrink down echidna treasures from the Sandopolis Zone.

Even though he made only a few cameos and was a mini boss for the special stages in Sonic Triple Trouble (for Game Gear, also Sonic & Tails 2 in Japan) Nack was still pretty cool, especially in the comics. Although he appears in the final stage before fighting Robotnik, he has no affiliation with him, nor does he know about the power of the mystical gems; he only wishes to steal the chaos emeralds and sell them. Sonic had to not only prevent Robotnik and Knuckles, who thinks he is the rightful owner of the emeralds, from getting the emeralds, but Nack too. (Hence the name "Triple Trouble") This is also the first game that wasn't a port from the Master system.

Nack also was a character on Sonic the Fighters (Arcade), which was like a Sonic version of Street Fighter.

Even though he's a relatively minor character, I wish Sega would bring him back and put him in a game, even if he's just as he was in Triple Trouble - a miniboss who makes a few cameos.
