Robotnik looks like an russian last name (remember, it is his last name. His first name is Ivo, I only saying it 'cause are so confusion about it by these horrible Sonic comics... ) And I like so much these russian names, are strange and cool!

I liked your idea. But, please, but in his head that black googles that he uses in the top of head in the Adventure series. I love that goggles, these are soooooooooo cool!!!

Actually, I read that robotnick was a Greek word meaning "slave" which is interesting because he makes creatures into robot slaves. Pretty humorous, eh?

P.s.: the name Robotnik EXISTS in the japanese version, it's not an USA creation. In the game Sonic and Tails 2, was an zone called Robotnik Winter. (Sonic and Tails 2 are known as Sonic Triple Trouble in the USA).
