Description
From the title screen on Sonic CD, press Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, A to call up a Sound Test menu. Special things will happen if you select certain sound combinations and press Start. One of those things is called "Revenge of the Mutant Artwork" and can be viewed by using the following combination:FM44, PCM11, DA09
This image of Sonic, whose face is deformed and almost human-like, is the tiled background of a screen with Japanese writing that says:
"Fun is forever" - Majin.
Majin means "devil" in Japanese.

Majin does indeed translate to "devil" but I checked out the letters in the writing on this image in-game and it doesn't say devil anywere as far as I could tell.
