Description
From the title screen on Sonic CD, press Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, A to call up a Sound Test menu. Special things will happen if you select certain sound combinations and press Start. One of those things is called "Revenge of the Mutant Artwork" and can be viewed by using the following combination:FM44, PCM11, DA09
This image of Sonic, whose face is deformed and almost human-like, is the tiled background of a screen with Japanese writing that says:
"Fun is forever" - Majin.
Majin means "devil" in Japanese.

I've had this game for the PC several years...I never got passed the third level of Collision Chaos back when I was younger...and I certainly didn't know about this hidden artwork until I just recently found the music combination and the ROM to use it on...Can't tell you how glad I am that I found this out now.
Accompanied with that music...if I had seen this image when I was like 11 years old, I would have NEVER touched anything Sonic related again.
Even now it scares the life outta me o.o

Oh yeah, I typed the code in the Sound Test menu and as I saw the secret picture I was really scared... *OMG*
Since then, I've been deciding not to select the combination anymore...
Still, I love Sonic CD! It's one of the best oldschool games ever

Normally I endure such scary things, but this was too much for me. I got nightmares for a week after I saw it (...ok, that was my own fault 'cause I played in the midnight and I was alone at home...
