It's a child's homework area, abandoned when the kid fled at the first thunderclap. The first version had less colour, no toys, and a chair that had been knocked over, but I didn't like the way it looked - too much like part of a very unhappy home. So I made it more like the kid was just afraid of the storm (or maybe he/she just saw it as an excuse to get away from the homework).

So, the storm outside is to represent adulthood, and inside, it's all bright and happy and safe because that's what childhood should be. Or at least, that's what I was thinking when I was making this (WIP, because I'm never satisfied and will probably add to it).

As with all of my Paint pictures, if you don't full-view it, it'll probably look fuzzy . . .
