The other two is just me goofing around, mostly trying to get tank tops to look right. I'm not sure I've succeeded, but oh, well

I know what you mean; I doodle when I'm waiting for something (like the Sims 3 to load up), but I don't really draw on paper anymore. I do Paint stuff, usually when I'm putting off doing something else .... Like these last few days, I've been messing around with Paint when I feel I should actually be editing the five-chapter prequelΒ I've written over the last few weeks. On the plus side, this fic will actually have its own cover, not just a copy of my profile picture.

I will admit that I've only ever used pictures I sort of stole from the Internet as a book cover, but that's just because no one will ever see my books. I wouldn't have used them if I could afford a publisher...or at least owned a printer.
Does The Sims 3 usually take like 10-20 minutes to load for you too?

I was talking about a cover image for the story I'm planning to put on FanFiction.Net soon; right now, all three of my stories have 'cover art' that just matches my profile picture. I put more effort into writing and editing this story than those old ones from ten years ago, so I figure it deserves a half-decent cover image to help differentiate it from my old stuff.
I've only thought about what my book might look like, if I ever get something original (not a fanfic) written. I have a few ideas, but my own photography skills aren't quite what I need them to be, yet. (I'm more concerned about the book's content, anyway.)
No, the Sims 3 takes about five to ten minutes for me ... I know I could shorten that time by removing people from my household (I have eight) or making my house/yard smaller and less fancy ... but it took me years to get it all the way it is, lol, and I like it.

I could probably do that. My current house is one Sim and four (large) pets, so she probably doesn't need the mansion she lives in now. Oh well, the outside is much nicer than the inside! I guess all she really needs is an All-In-One, a fairy house and pet accessories. That might speed up the loading process considerably. I've been thinking I should downsize anyway. All the big (and fun) houses I made have too many problems to really enjoy, so I've just been trying to ignore them.
Now that I'm playing around in Muro and sort of improving, I could probably aim to make a cover for my book. I don't know what the hell I would make.

lol, well, I guess it depends on your story ... mine is yet another BSC fic, so I've basically just spelled out the title on some rainbow alphabet blocks ... it'll look better here on DA than it will on FFN, becauseΒ FFN only gives you tiny preview images of the picture. The blocks are both a reference to the series' logo and a hint at what the story is about, so it was a no-brainer for me to pick them, lol

I like both aspects; but since my computer can barely handle The Sims 3, I prefer to play. Just creating the Sim takes me long enough, but the result is usually worth it. My male Sims used to be so girly, but I think I've conquered that problem by making their eyes as small as possible and widening their jaws.
I might have an idea for my cover now; fire...It might be tricky, but they all have been.
