Thank you I am in the process of coloring a copy with Prismacolor pencils...I am still learning how to use Photoshop but I may attempt digital coloration at some point.

Wow! I am glad I saw your other picture first. If I had seen this one first, I wouldn't have been brave enough to leave a comment! And even though I am not fond of ocean pictures, this one grabs the attention and holds it. There is so much to look at; I love the sea turtle especially, and all of the anemone. The way all of the shapes fit together and flow into one another is simlpy amazing. A truly great illustration!

I'm lucky too - we swapped original works so I have my own framed oceanpeace art They're so colorful and cheerful, not at all like mine.

I truly love this flowing, neo-psychedelic style of yours, and this piece is the best example of it yet. The swirling, serpentine, never-ending movement seems more appropriate than ever in this underwater scene, and every inch of the composition is alive with delightfully intricate details, each of which is a work of art in itself. Your daughter's idea is terrific, you realized it to perfection, and I love the way you incorporated human-like (read mermaid?) faces into the aquatic setting. This is wonderful work, and it's a definite, unhesitating .

If there was a competition for best comments you would definitely win Thank you so much for taking the time to write a thoughtful comment that inspires me to draw more. Yes, the bottom human-like figure is definitely a mermaid - the top one was simply an upturned counterpart to her, not necessarily a mermaid but designed to represent Oceanpeace's love of the sea.
I'm so glad that you like it and that it takes a place in your favorites gallery.

Thank you I was trying to give it an upbeat tone so that's good. I'm terribly afraid of the ocean myself so it wasn't easy. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment, I appreciate it.

This is very lovely. I like how the animals all fit in so very nicely. Nice composition, contrast. The piece has a very polished look and the lines are clean. I wouldn't change this in any way
