Note: I'll try to keep spoilers out of this but the following paragraph has some hints so if you want to go into it completely blind I recommend skipping it!

Ok! I got caught up with Casting Rain maybe 5 days ago by now, but that half paragraph really spoke to me, for whatever reason, and I just really wanted to draw something based on it!! I can't draw humanoids for the life of me though so fire dog it is!
The first couple drafts of this were going to be two drawings of Grillby mirrored with smoke kinda connecting them by their mouths? It sounds weird when I say it but it didn't look that weird I swear. It was supposed to visually show how his voice was still his own when he was cursed. Then I drew this and the mirrored version looked really bad so I turned the mirrored version into smoke then that also looked bad so I settled on just drawing the cursed Grillby. Honestly it looks a lot better than I thought it would but I should still probably practice fire lol

Man oh man do I love this fanfic.
I know fan-fictions have a pretty crazy reputation, especially Undertale *cough* typically for good reason *cough*, but this one is actually pretty awesome!! I love the world and character building, and it's surprisingly accurate (I think) to the time period?? Which is awesome by the way. Also, this thing is just amazingly written. It really makes you feel whatever the characters are feeling! Amazing work! You should go read it!
