I get this image in my head that they are fighting for a chocalate flan and its still in its plastic packaging and its the first food they have seen in 2-3 days, and its been accidently dropped by a human that was passing along the mountain trail, it ended up in between a crack in the earth, and they are both trying to make it there first to eat it (it was dropped a few moments ago and the human is way far away,and yes it is still fresh)
BUT then they both get stuck and then they finally agreed that Dororo and Zoruru would share it after Dororo grabs it from inbetween the crack in the earth...
And when they do get it they share it (it came with 2 spoons and a fork + 2 paper, mini, circle, mats ) and they eventually find there way back to admirals/aki's mothers house
