First time using photo shop. Something completely new to me, Any critic, tips, technics, tutorials, or advice would help me out a lot. Again, FIRST TIME USING PHOTO SHOP.Lines: Joe Mad

use "q" to access quick mask mode and then draw-on areas where you'd like to color - a sort of "color in the lines mask", press ctrl + i to invert your mask so that it covers whatever you don't want to draw on and then press "q" again to leave quick mask mode and color, voila - tip of the day.

Pretty good for your first time using photoshop as a coloring tool! You seem to have a pretty good grasp of the basics of the program. All I can suggest is don't hesitate to play around with the various brushes for various effects. ((I like to use the hard line brush for hair for example, )) But play around and find what you like!
