We are currently working on a song called Whalesong to raise awareness on the currency whaling events around Shinzo Ebe attestation to reapply for whaling licences following the court ban this year.
As we have done with the recent Syrian project i want to offer the track for advertising / revenue streaming to charities related to supporting the cause. In this case Β SeaSheppard and Greenpeace (if they want it). whether or no there is interest we will release the track to raise global awareness and opposition to whaling anyway but the option will be offered.
This brings me to you .We are working on cover themes around Japans whaling activities, while investigating potential images we have narrowed down to 5 or 6 potential cover arts other artists which are spot on for the song project, one of these is your image
I wanted to ask if this image was made exclusively for another campaign / project or whether it is available for licensing as cover art ? we are though only in a position to pay $30.00 licensing fee but obviously do credit any artists work at every opportunity with advertising links from our website.

This is brilliant, even though I don't really have much of a say on the issue. I mean sure, I guess whaling is wrong, but if people's livelihoods depend on it, I don't think I could fault them, & I don't I should hate them for it either. Besides, its not just Japan that does it, Norway & Iceland do it too.
I do love the ying yang whales though. That is an excellent touch.

Oh wow, surprised this concept hasn't been used much. Very good illustration. Love the awareness to stop whaling hunts. I wish there is one for dolphins in the future. I dunno if you've seen the documentary "The Cove", it's about dolphin hunting in japan.

I've seen "Whale Wars" pass by on Animal Planet a couple times. I can't really stomach to watch it, despite the fact I watch things such as Animal Cops and ASPCA. When you see the actions of cruelty happening in front of your eyes, whether TV or not, it just hurts more than seeing the aftermath for me. I'm not sure why. I guess it's the feeling of being useless against it at the time; and that the people fighting are really in danger!
I seriously hope those people fighting do manage to win, though. Whales don't deserve to be hunted, and there's plenty of other things people can focus on for money/eating. Those foolish people driving them to extinction for their own sake is disgusting...

I just can't get over the selfish nature of the human race... Whales are such magnificent creatures. Their extinction, especially human caused, would be a true loss. I love this image. Great design.
