TITLE: Mistletoe Mishap

SUMMARY: I was working at my job and saw that we were getting a shipment of LIVE mistletoe and my mind quickly something up and made a quick sketch. This is the final version... ^__^

I keep thinking Gene's face is a little bit too long though...

This one needs a quick background story...Fear my lack to story-telling skillz!

It was Christmas eve...

"Sherry! Come over here and check this out!" Kid called out, hiding just out of sight at a nearby door entrance. Unknown to Sherry, he had tied up some mistletoe at the top of the door...

He waited impatiently, wondering why she was taking her time. In the other room, he heard footsteps enter. Was that her??

"Over here!" he called again and started to become excited when the footsteps headed towards the door.

He face suddenly turned into shock as Gene, his Links Doubles partner walked in instead.

"Oh, there you are!" Gene said cheerfully, waving a present in Kid's shocked face. "This is for you!...Why are you hiding out here anyway..."

"Hey Kid!" Sherry's voice drifted from the other room. "I'll be there in a sec, okay? Joe got trapped under the Christmas tree again..."

From another room, Joe's muffled cries for help can be heard.

"Are you all right?" Gene peered at Kid's still shocked face. He continued to hold the present out, whick looked suspicously like a box of golf balls to Kid. "See? I didn't forget your present..." Kid took it slowly without any words, shook it and heard golf balls inside. He sighed. "...What? It's not golf balls this time...erm..." Randomly looks up. "....What's this? Mistletoe!? Did you trick me into coming here? Kid, you're SICK!!!" he accused, turning and walked off.

Kid finally recovers and shouted after him. "You weren't supposed to show up!! You ruined everything!!"

SUDDEN END!

I'm not sure where this takes place. I'll just say the Marion Club since it's the largest club out there, even though the color scheme doesn't match at all...

MEDIA: HP Color LaserJet paper, mechanical pencils, Strathmore erasers, Pilot G-2 gel pens and Prismacolor pencils. The sloppy background is also colored with Prismacolor pencils...
