I don't think I uploaded the final version of the sketch I uploaded weeks ago...
These are the alternates for my OCs in my story, called Matt Hinkell and Nate Willson, though they look VERY similar to them. One is laid back and the other is more serious. Though they were similar clothes, they are NOT related at all. That's their college uniforms... *shifty eyes* And yes, their college specializes in the study of plants.
They didn't like each other when they first met
but learned to eventually tolerate each other .___. And I decided this version of Hinkell won't die after all (I have a hard time killing off my characters... xP )Matthias Hinkell, Nathan Willson and their alternate self belong to

It's good!. Is that a tweed jacket with white shirt and jeans? That would be an interesting uniform.
And yeah, it's hard to even consider killing off one of your characters, especially if it's a character you've had for a while and really like. Of course, if you're a superhero comic, you can just have them inexplicably come back to life, but that's neither here nor there.

Probably more like a plaid jacket or something. And the school is pretty casual since they're dealing with plants and all xD
I have an idea where even if the character got killed, they just go to this 'holding area' where they can either continue on to the "Other World", wait to be resurrected or just be forgotten. That way, no one can really die in my universe unless they make the decision to enter a new life.
By the way, one of my characters I haven't bothered to resurrect yet has been waiting for 7 years... *shifty eyes*

Is this "Holding Area" called the Game Over Screen?
Now all I can see is, say, an alternate Mattias dying and being stuck in the Metal Gear Solid game over screen.

Nah, it's more like an actual place than a Game Over Screen since there can be many people in there in case a Wolrd Destroyer attacks. :3 The size is pretty big and it looks like a regular world but everyone has halos over their head to show that they're dead.
I haven't really worked out how this idea would work properly in my story yet .__.
