Two comic strips in an Azumanga Daioh kinda format, starring Samara/Sadoko from The Ring etc, cos she's great. I just love the idea of this spirit living down a well, phoning people. Maybe I took it too literally, but who cares? She's funny, and all she really wants is a nice parent who won't try and kill her again.So I'm 16 and still can't colour in the lines. So sue me.

Of all the bizarre, outlandish, pythonesque, morbid and generally weird things I've thought about The Ring in general, why has THIS never occured to me!? ... Most likely because it's far too obvious.

Well, it has ranged between a lawyer, insurance salesman or a dentist emerging from the TV, prompting their victims to either commit suicide, ask for mercy by swift death or contemplating the weidness of the situation, to having Samara come, drenched as usual, out of the TV... With a cable around her ankle... Insert line about how water and electricity do not work so well together and KERZAP!! Number 4. A well-done wraith for two... And then we have, of course, the exchange-the-TV-with-a-random-object scenarios... A birdcage for example.
Salesman: It's said that the birdcage is cursed and, who knows, maybe there's some truth to it. All I know is that every single one who have owned the cage has gone to meet a most excruciating and mysterious end.
Customer: I wonder if it has anything to do with the seriously pissed of, undead child inside of it?
Seriously, I must've had a bazillion weirdtastic ideas about the ring alone... And I don't even want to think about my total score.
