Aidori is canon! I am so excited, you guys don't understand! Sure, it might have only really happened in the bonus chapter, but hey, that's fine by me! I've been shipping these two for years now!

The first volume of Vampire Knight Memories consists of the the four extra chapters which have been released after the last volume. Every other month, there is a new chapter release in the LaLa DX and it seems the seventh chapter will be published in this month. We might see some spoilers in the next days on tumblr. I can't wait >.< I'm so excited!

Like the most likely daughter of Yori is married to a vampire since her husband is as tall as Hanabusa (and we know that vampires are not just beautiful and graceful but Tall as well) and his hair is similar to Ichijos. And I loved the scene when he complimented Yoris beauty. So my brain gave two and two together and came out with TakumaxYoris daughter pairing. XD

Gotta love Zeki too, though Aidori is the main attraction for me ^_^ ...mostly because of the cuteness!!! And how flexible they are to work with. Writing a story with those two characters is amazingly fun because there's so much to fill in with your own imagination!

Or even if Yori didn't become a Vampire, Aidou could have finished that cure and become a human too! I feel really bad for Aidou that Yori died and he's still going to live for years and years and years without her. At least if they were both human then Aidou wouldn't be far behind... 
...and yes, I'd love to see their kids!

I've been shipping Aidori for years, never in a million years I thought they would be canon cuz they are like 'crack' ship. Their personality really suit each other and Yori become much more prettier. She still remain awesome in her granny years. They also fall under the bittersweet tragic couple where yori died of old age and Aido remain young and regretted that he couldn't finish his research earlier so that he could become human and grow old together with her. Its very bittersweet.

You are very welcome ^_^ I was so excited to hear about that last chapter and went off to read it immediately, after which I shared it with some of my other Vampire Knight friends. 
Same with the Aidori shipping. I've written several Aidori stories on FF and have some others that are semi-complete but not quite there just yet, so I haven't uploaded them yet. I don't even remember how I got the idea for the pairing. Probably something to do with my love for trying to understand the side-line characters. And Yori definitely needed some more attention, being as awesome as she is! 
And I know! Never thought they'd be canon! (last chapter, but still!!! IT COUNTS!)
And yeah... sniff. Very very very bittersweet. I love the pairing even more now, but even so it's quite heartwrenching to know that there was a fleeting happily ever after... but not quite perfect. My best friend and I were discussing it and decided that it was probably the best ending since it made the pairing so much more appealing and all the more interesting.
...damn, I wanna write a story about this now. -.-
