Yeah, I do Tae Kwon do and Haidong Gumdo (Katana sword fighting). I didn't notice the sword was upside down until my instructor pointed it out to me. I felt like such a retard --_--*

nah! The pose is really good and natural and this is a detail that will noone notice. Your instructor was focused on it so hard because it is his proffession. How many sword fighting instructors will see this picture? I suggest you draw more of the combat poses, you can obviously do it well.

Combat poses destory my self-esteem. I've done a couple, but almost immideantly bury them in the trash afterwards. They're hauntingly horrible.
