Description The Valeyard Returns in The Fall of The Eleventh...

Basically this is how I believe season 7 needs to end... with the return of 10.5 (Metacrisis Doctor, whatever you want to call him), who comes back to this reality to claim his regenerations, and his life, back from The Doctor...

Now calling himself The Valeyard after Rose's death, The Doctor must battle him for their remaining regenerations, as The Valeyard is the one person now who could undo everything The Doctor has done... the one person The Doctor can't lie to, and the one person who knows all of The Doctor's secrets...

If Rose, gone then how did she die? I can't image that she wouldn't be there to stop 10.2 from this foolishness.

I have watched enough of classic and current Who to completely agree with you. If 10.5/MetaCrisis Doctor was to lose Rose, he would become dark. Perhaps even evil, since he was "born out of war and bitterness." Good work!

The Valeyard isn't meta crisis Doctor. He's 13 (well, technically 12.5). Anyways it's a long story.

And 12.5 Actually makes legitimate sense now Since that Regeneration counted and with the new numbering

I would love to see them bring back the Valeyard--and explain why he wants the Doctor's regenerations when Gallifrey is no longer around to enforce the 12 regeneration limit. Bringing back 10.5 would be the perfect work around for that. Except the Master did say he was created during the Doctor's 12th regeneration--which, if you want to get technical, IS the "fall of the eleventh," as the Doctor's 10th regeneration created the meta-crisis Doctor, making Tennant to Smith regeneration number 11. So, the Valeyard is really "created" or realized when Eleven regenerates. It's PERFECT! They should do it!

SPOILERS FOR NIGHT, DAY AND TIME OF THE DOCTOR EPISODES

actually, it was stated that the Valeyard from an alternate universe, and was created between his 12th and final incarnations

since the War doctor was added between 8 and 9, Ten was now the Eleventh form, and since his regeneration to heal himself in Journey's End counts as a regeneration, the Tenth!Doctor from the Specials is technically his 12th incarnation.

AND since it lives in Pete's World with Rose, it's going to be in the alterate universe until it's called back for the Trial

The MetaCrisis didn't actually form until after the regeneration was over, meaning it WAS CREATED between his 12th (Tennant to Tennant) and final(ish) (Tennant to Smith) incarnations.

since the time war hadn't taken place yet, the time lords weren't stuck in the pocket dimension, so they had no idea that they had given him the new set of regenerations.

Old comment is old. Β All I know is that they've name dropped the Valeyard twice in the new series, so hopefully he'll be returning in the near future.

if the metacrisis, rose and the tylers were to get in some sort of accident where everyone died, but the metacrisis regenerated. Now he's lost everything he ever had with rose, and he was already pretty genocidal considering the Daleks.

Plus, that would make the first regeneration of Meta!Doctor, and it would take place between the twelfth and final regeneration of the Doctor, since the parallel world runs faster.

Think about it this way,

A big car crash, or Daleks, or Cybermen, or even Zygons.

Everyone dies, Rose is dying, the Metacrisis is dying and he's heartbroken because there's nothing he can do to stop her from dying.

They both die, but the Metacrisis wakes up and sees his new body.

He'd totally lose it.

He'd told Rose that he only had one heart, and that he would grow old and die as a human.

But that ended up being a lie.

Another one of the Doctor's lies.

So...he won't be the Doctor anymore. He never was that man in the first place.

He'll be someone else.

He'll return to the correct universe and judge the Doctor for his sins.

Then...he'll take the regenerations that cost him his peace with Rose.

And he'll end the Doctor...before he hurts her, and before he himself is created.

Holy Galifrey, this is WAY darker than anything I usually come up with.

are we entirely sure about that? Jenny was fatally shot and half-regenerated.

in the episodes featuring the Valeyard, The Master stated that the Valeyard was from AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, and WAS CREATED BETWEEN THE DOCTOR'S TWELFTH AND FINAL INCARNATIONS

After 'Journey's End', the metacrisis was left in Pete's World, which is located in a parallel universe

the metacrisis' actual creation occurred AFTER the 'Stolen Earth' regeneration was already over, and according to the new regeneration count made canon by Eleven in 'Time of the Doctor', the Tenth Doctor between 'Journey's End' and 'End of Time pt. 2 was the TWELFTH incarnation of the Doctor and Eleven was his FINAL (of that regeneration cycle.

The Time Lords didn't grant him a new cycle until the Time War was already over, by their perspective after 'End of Time' and 'Day of the Doctor'.

None of the Time Lords even knew about the Doctor's new cycle yet, meaning The Valeyard/Metacrisis would have had no idea about the new cycle, since it was granted AFTER 'Journey's End'.

I don't remember them saying anything about him from being from an alternate universe and whether they did or not he's not FROM that Universe

And Jenny had the Ability to Regenerate because of that Life Energy Stuff you could tell that's what came out of her mouth not Regeneration Energy

If you look at my other Comment I said I knew about the New Regeneration Count and I agree with you

To be honest it'd make more sense if he just aged into him Michael Jayston's looked Vaguely like David Tennant in his Younger Years

I'm not saying It doesn't make sense it does if he Regenerated by some other means or Simply grew older into him BUT It's still not something I want to see happen simply because i'm a Rose Fan and I don't want her to die

If she left him for some reason maybe because he wasn't the proper Doctor and she never felt right or because he started acting like a jerk i'd be cool with it

I like it but I would prefer the image of The Valeyard from The Ultimate Foe in place of the Meta-Crisis Doctor.

Oh God, I hope not. That would completely ruin the 'happy ever after'.
I'd much prefer it if it were the GangerDoctor, but that's just me.

Still though, that's a fine picture mash.
