Description
a response to 's Spawn pic, "Shattered spawn".now, If you remember I actually met chasignartwork in person at the new york comic con last year, and seeing his artwork in person inspired me to try to draw this, however I didn't get to it until I saw his new picture.
This isn't me trying to one up him, just to let you know. This is just me taking inspiration from him.
now as to the reason in design good ole Al Simmons is partially because of me trying to make spawn unique yet a tribute to chasing artwork. another artist, Tyrranux, actual drew spawn in a similar biomecha fashion. now as I started this pic , i thought "nah, spawn looks too much like a freaking Necron". as I designed the character, I decided to make it seems as if the symbiotic suit was starting to form around that cybernetic chasis.
and if you think about what Spawn has tanked, it makes sense that some fan redesigns would make him mechanical. This guy has gone up against hitmen, cyborgs, super soldiers ,demons, angels, vampires and Gods. ai also decide to add elements of previous version of the suit to this design. mainly the #32 suit and the new suit from #251. I was thinking of throwing some elements of jim dowigns first spawn suit in there, but I figured this was good enough. I also borrowed some elements from shattered spawn itself, decide to showoff a glowing ribcage and muscles.
anway, check out 's gallery, I promise you won't be disappointed.

yup. have to put a lot of detail into pictures like this. and the subject matter being Spawn, it practically demands attention.
