"I reminded myself that this was never about them, but about me. I set out to be the better me; I owe that to myself."This is the second half of a pair of drawings I've been meaning to draw for some time. This piece depicts Sunset Shimmer sharing to Sci-Twi her experiences, especially her hardships, and how she persuaded herself to carry on. Sunset no doubt is keenly aware that Sci-Twi is going through tangentially similar struggles, and hopes that Sci-Twi's road forward is less uncertain than her own was... or rather, still is. This piece together with its companion piece is intended to be part of a continuous theme, along with another 2018 piece which depicts Sunset in almost the same pose, but before the defeat.
