Finally, coloring is complete. This is the colour version of the Mane Six and Spike group hug sketch that I made a while ago, using cell-shading. Photoshop Elements was used to color the sketch, which was done with pencil on paper.All characters belong to Hasbro. They were designed by and other talented artists at DHX Media Vancouver.

Well, the only thing I can think of is that you should not be afraid to submit your own work to the EQD submissions box, since they can't feature someone they don't know about.

Well, that's a brilliant bit of work! I think you caught all seven characters' personalities perfectly in this image. It has an original feel to it so that it doesn't look like a tracing from an episode but without mutilating the look of the characters so much that they become unrecognisable.

Thank you for your kind words as always, dear sir! Although I still dislike the way I've managed to color(ruin) it... I've been receiving constructive criticism on this piece, and I believe I have enough advice to turn out a better work next time.

c'mon, your colouring isn't as bad as you think. It ended up looking like the original (if not a little choppy at some lines, which might have been technical difficulties from outlining the pencils I assume

I did .... 8 coloration pictures before this, none of them pony related. They were made way before I joined DA, two years or more ago, so you won't be able to see them on my page. After the last one I kinda swore to myself I'd never color again, but I changed my mind when someone suggested I ink and color my Mane Six and Spike group picture.
