Day 86 of "a drawing a day", second day of "draw this again" week where I redraw some of my oldest drawings: I redraw a piece from 2012 depicting Tiandriel in the Palsgrave outfit wielding a big sword. The redraw uses the Palsgrave redesign I did recently, including the montante "Applause" and the rapier "Mouser" (where the original has an unnamed rather short longsword and an early form of Sharptooth). The original drawing for today's redraw is this illustration of Tiandriel for a Medieval 2 Total War AAR I was doing back in 2012, where she appeared as the "Golden Witch", a mysterious advisor to the Holy Roman Emperor Fredrick Barbarossa (this would later inspire her appearance in a Crusader Kings 2 AAR I did later, and would eventually serve as inspiration for her "Blue Witch" moniker that she often has in settings where she has access to magic). This outfit was eventually named "Palsgrave" along with the Gothic armour I drew for the same AAR - the same Palsgrave that I recently redesigned.The original for this drawing can be seen linked below.
