One of these days I will use a base that DOESN'T screw with mine and my friends' heads, therefore making an accurate ref.

The legs are all kinds of messed up, but that was the best I could do given the angle of the base. I ran them by ~viktu and ~rinoaneko and this was the best we could do. ...This is why I hate dolling anything like this. XD It's not that I can't... it's that it's a pain in the butt! Her lower right leg (the angled one) is accurate and her upper left leg is accurate too as far as I'm concerned. And yes, Sal' has spikes on the arms. She's fond of using them as weapons when in close combat. But now you can see that and the arm patterns clearly which is the big plus to this.

But yes, this is the armor that Salina was given. Her surrogate father built it and gave it to her to help her reach her goal of becoming a freelancer, where she could then get back at the space pirates (and unknown to her surrogate parents, the Galactic Federation as well). Her armor never really changes in appearance unless she causes the changes. Over the years she has made modifications and even continues to do so. It's similar to Samus' suit in a few ways, mainly how it's stored/summoned and that it shares a beam based weapon system. The similarities come from the fact the luminoth and chozo were in contact at one point. I played with that since I'd like to believe they shared more than just weapon tech.

In all though Salina's suit lacks things that Samus' has or it functions differently with weapons. Salina does NOT have an alt mode (IE: morphball). Instead she has anti-gravity systems (inspired by how the luminoth float around). Her suit lacks an arm cannon as well, her beams being channeled through the gems on her hands instead. As a result she has to throw her attacks. Her screw attack also functions differently and can be considered a faulty/weaker version of Samus'.

Salina's actually not as strong as Samus armor wise. She's less of a powerhouse compared to her twin sister. Salina usually wins her battles by outsmarting the enemy or using rather dirty fighting tactics. She is not a fair fighter at all as she'll do whatever it takes to win. This comes mostly from the betrayal she suffered as a rookie since, after that, she believes there is no such thing as fair in terms of fighting.
