Personality: Calm, Caring, Kind, Somewhat Quiet, Well-Mannered
Other: Zelda is a decent strategist. She prefers to use her words to settle fights, but she isn't shy towards fighting if she has to. She has a great knowledge of the Triforce and Hyrule's history. She doesn't like that she is often expected to do great things because of her ancestor who sealed Ganondorf. Zelda is very loyal to her land and her people. She is very open minded and willing to give others chances, but if approached by demons or monsters she's initially defensive until given a reason to be otherwise.

- Nayru's Love*
- Farore's Wind*

- Fire Arrows
- Ice Arrows
- Earth Arrows
- Water Arrows
* = Her three major spells function like the attacks of the same name in the Smash Bros. series. They are considered to be higher levels of the canon spells.

* = The part of the Triforce that is hers by birthright. Zelda is able to tap into the Triforce of Wisdom's near limitless power and strengthen her spells. Now that it is active, she has a practically limitless supply of magic and cannot become physically exhausted by overuse (aka depletion of her natural magic supply). If used to power up her spells, said spells can become extremely dangerous and difficult to control.
History:
Princess Zelda was the second child born into royalty. When the mark of the Triforce was observed on the back of her hand after birth, Zelda was named after her ancestor from the Era of the Hero of Time. Pretty quickly after her birth she was introduced to the sheikah, Impa, who was entrusted with looking after Zelda by Queen Ariane. Zelda was raised by Impa with minor help from Ariane early on. Because of the way she was raised, Zelda came to see Impa as a second mother. She grew up inside the castle walls, rarely ever allowed to leave unless on business and with strict supervision. Unlike her brother, Zelda was constantly disappointed by it. Zelda never really managed to have much of a personal social life and most all of it was with her family. This didn't exactly start bothering her until she was older.
When she was old enough, Zelda began training in archery. It was an interest she developed early on from watching her mother practice her own archery. The bow was a natural fit to her and Zelda learned how to use it pretty quickly, though her skill would take years to develop. With guidance from Impa and Ariane, she learned how to use her magic both with and without her bow and arrows. This was all encouraged and never forbidden as it was customary since the Era of the Hero of Time for a royal to be able to fight and defend themselves should they be put into danger. Over the years Zelda had maintained a normal (if not sheltered) lifestyle for a princess. She's only grown to hate her lifestyle but can't exactly do much about it.
Recently Zelda had begun to have troubling nightmares. In these nightmares she watches helplessly as billowing clouds of darkness rush over Hyrule and blot out any light. The only sign of hope comes from one individual backed by many as they shine forth through the darkness. Zelda has discussed this reoccurring nightmare with her mother, but her mother passes it off as fear towards the increase of monsters in the land. Frustrated with her parents not listening, Zelda took the issue up with Impa who believed her nightmare to be a premonition. With Impa's belief in mind, Zelda turned towards history for answers. She has come to believe that a hero will soon appear to protect Hyrule. The only problem is finding them and knowing how to identify them. Zelda had been working with Impa and the traditional sheikah to find the next hero despite what her family believed. After coming to believe that it will be needed, Zelda has kept the Ocarina of Time close to her.
Shortly into her research she met with a man who she assumed to be the next hero. Despite how rude and confrontational he was, Zelda remains certain she is correct in her choice, especially after having later dug up information about him specifically. She sees a pattern that others are unsure about. Before she got too far with her research, Hyrule Castle was attacked. The forces were spread thin across Hyrule and several people turned up missing, leading to a disorganized defense and Hyrule Castle's fall. Impa had found her immediately at the start of the attack and both went on to find Kael. Zelda would double back for the Ocarina of Time which she left behind, causing her and Impa to lose track of Kael. Zelda successfully fled but at the cost of being separated from Impa.
Plot History:
After being forced out of her home, Zelda fled south to the Kokiri Forest. It was her hope that the forest would shake any pursuing enemies and get them off her trail. That wasn't the only reason for her choice as she knew about the Deku Tree which she thought could help her. Though she knew part of the way to the kokiri forest, Zelda didn't remember it in enough detail to make it there and ended up lost for hours. Luckily she'd been seen by the korok, Verbena, who reported the princess's whereabouts to the Deku Tree. That led Verbena to meet Zelda and lead the princess the rest of the way into the forest. Zelda met with the Deku Tree and reported her situation to him, revealing everything she knew as well as her nightmares which she believed to have foretold of everything. Considering she couldn't stay in the forest indefinitely and needed to find Impa and the Hero, Zelda brought up the need for a convincing disguise and how Impa had been working with her on one but never finished it. The Deku Tree offered assistance and he knew what to do when he found out about the strange mask Zelda was carrying with her. After the princess used her transformation mask and assumed the identity of a kokiri, her actual memories were locked away and replaced with false ones that made her believe she was indeed a kokiri. A fairy was assigned to her to make sure that Zelda would find Impa. Though the fairy hated the idea she was forced to go along with it.
Zelda left the forest as a kokiri who had wandered out of the protective barrier, thus giving her the goal of trying to return home. Saffi (her fairy) felt as though it was more a punishment for her than a way to excuse how Zelda traveled. For a while the two ended up traveling but they had several run-ins with people that were tasked by Impa to help keep an eye out for her. This wasn't clear right away, but some of them started to grow suspicious of Zelda and eventually took her to meet Impa. Zelda was revealed, her memories restored, and she reunited with her brother and Impa. Zelda would work on a new disguise so she could move freely without the use of her mask. During this time she insisted the next step was to find the hero and, believing it to be Link, she had everyone help her find him.
When Link was found Zelda knew from then on it'd be a struggle to work with the man. She was grateful that he was agreeing to help (even if out of irritation and a desire to be left alone once he proved he wasn't this hero they needed). Together with Impa and Kael, they made a plan to get into the castle and recover the Master Sword. Zelda had other allies gathered via messages delivered by the rito that they knew. Once they had everyone gathered, the entire group was briefed, stocked with supplies, and moved out to Hyrule Castle. Zelda stayed with Link, so after providing outside help to the support group, she entered the castle's basement with Link and the fighters. She split off with Link as everyone else provided a distraction.
The two reached the Master Sword's chamber and Zelda opened the door with the Ocarina of Time. The two proceeded to the sword's pedestal but were cut short when they were ambushed by Ganondorf. Zelda was attacked and knocked out despite her efforts to defend herself and Link. In being knocked out she lost the Ocarina of Time which was shattered by Link during the fight he put up against the Evil King. It wasn't until after the fight and after Link claimed the legendary blade that she had awakened. Both her and Link were in bad shape and needed to leave. Link filled her in on what happened and, in a panic, Zelda tried to recollect the ocarina's shards. While she got most, some she was forced to leave behind. The two managed to escape and rejoined Impa outside who had everyone split up. Impa took Link and Zelda with her to the Hidden Village to recover. In a month's time of recovery in the village, Zelda (and everyone else) learned about the existence of Fi and Saniya, though not much was recorded by the traditional sheikah when it came to Saniya.
After recovering, Zelda set out with Link as a type of sidekick to him due to Saniya's bond with her and Fi. They went to the Temple of the Sages first in an attempt to gain direction, and gain it they did. The two were tasked with finding their other allies. Through a long process they found their allies again and continued their journey.
Said journey was difficult and only gets worse as time goes on. Several instances and many fights with Link berating her has left Zelda in a bad spot mentally. Already depressed, the princess is quickly crumbling under the pressure that is making her depression worse. She feels weak, useless, and as though she has to hide her emotions and shoulder the burden of saving her Kingdom by herself. While she understands she's unable to do anything without Link, Zelda is in a position wherein she feels as though she's the only one that can lead. Consistent tension and struggling has led her to running away for a bit to stay with one of their allies who are displaced in time. Zelda has yet to rejoin those who follow her and Link and she's not sure if she will any time soon as she begins to explore the possibilities of her Triforce. Zelda currently believes that if she can learn to handle the Triforce of Wisdom that she can be of more use and lead better.

I may change the torso area to a dark purple yet. That seems to be the most popular choice at the moment, but even if I did she'd be staying lavender overall.
Thanks! I'm hoping the plot will be enjoyable in the end. It's just tricky right now because I have so much more to consider, haha.

What an awesome design! It has so many details, it must have taken time to draw or even plan her.
Could I try and draw some art on her??

Honestly, she looks like a canon Zelda so I don't even know why you're complaining. :I
TP looks like an adjustment off OoT, OoT is an adjustment off of ALttP, so on and so forth.
They all kinda mirror each other. I don't know what you were expecting butttt it's not like Zelda's gonna wear a bikini and start prancing around with a giant crown :U

I'm sorry she's not up to your expectations, but I spent a long time on this design yesterday and don't much appreciate the negativity. Especially when I had to do lots of research and run it by friends multiple times until I was content with it.
This Zelda is directly descended from the one of OoT, however, and similarities to OoT Zelda were intentional. The design here was made using four of Zelda's incarnations as a reference: SS, ALttP, OoT and TP. ALttP and even a character from "A Link Between Worlds" were the biggest influences on this design with the others helping with idea work on the pauldrons, dress and tabard. I used canon influence in general while having the intention to make Zelda look younger and less experienced despite being the one who runs her kingdom.
